Brief Snowquester Day

Last week a large snowstorm was predicted for southwestern PA.  It snowed overnight and we woke up to picture perfect snow scenes on March 6,2013.

However, many schools were closed, including Tommy and Grace's.  So they spent their day with Grammy.  We played in the downstairs family room.

Tommy found a fallen tree that he pretended was his horse.

Tommy had a lot of fun sledding by himself.  It was slippery so it took him awhile to get going.

Birthday Party Weekend

Evelyn and Christine came for a long weekend to celebrate Grace's 2nd Birthday.  Evelyn keeps herself entertained at Grammy's house.

She likes toys that she can open and close.

THANKSGIVING 2012 
The Sandman Thanksgiving was held at the Coraopolis Moose this year and as always it consists of Thanksgiving for Sixty (people). Yes, around sixty attendees with everyone assigned to bring something to the dinner.

 One of the activities beside food and football, is a Chinese auction.  Looks like Grammy Diana won a few of the items.  It was a little embarrassing.

 Another activity, especially for the kids was ornament making and Gracie works on one with cousin Megan.

 Then its off to Uncle Paul Rennie's home to visit the Rennie relatives.  Grace talks to Aunt Cherie while Tommy plays drums.

Christmas In Nashville 2012

 Visions of Sugar Plums danced in our heads as we were warmed by a picture of yule logs at the Mikrut Bed and Breakfast on Christmas Eve. Stockings hung too!

Evelyn attends her first Christmas Eve Mass and was looking for Baby Jesus.
