Baby Shower for Christine

This past weekend I attended Christine's baby shower in Nashville, hosted by her co-worker's... Krissy and Andrea.
It was held at Krissy's home and was just fabulous!

Beginning with a  custom invitation...

and a Martha Stewart to die for decor.

The cookie favors (handmade by Krissy's sister) were too pretty to eat.  But I had to take a small bite of one cookie  and it was so divine I ate the whole cookie.

Krissy's strawberry cupcakes would have won it all on "Cupcake Wars."

Living the M life, Aria... Las Vegas

We spent MLK weekend in Las Vegas at Aria enjoying the M life. 
with Tom and Michelle.

 

We left Pittsburgh on Friday morning, very cold with snow beginning to fall. brrr.:(

We met Michelle and Tom at the airport in Vegas and grabbed a Limo to Aria...hey we are living the M life.

 

When we arrived at Aria we checked into our corner suite (courtesy Michelle's "work" connections)

Instead of going to a show we decided to take the tram to Bellagio to enjoy a  dinner.

Tom made reservations for us at Prime at the Bellagio . Place was filled on Friday night.

Tom informed our waiter we were celebrating Tim's belated birthday.

Sunday morning we had breakfast at Mon Ami Gabi, a restaurant in Paris (casino)
Michelle and I enjoy Bloody Mary's from the Bloody Mary Bar.  yummm

The weekend passed quickly.  Michelle and I took a turn at the craps tables and before we knew it we had our jello shots and it was time to head home.  good bye M life.

Shock and Awe Sunday

On Sunday Jan 8 we watched the Wild Card Game between the Steelers and Denver Broncos with our neighbors John and Jackie.  All the makings of a win were in place:  food and snacks...

beverages in hand and Steeler attire.

Alas, it wasn't enough.  We had to endure excruciating referee decisions

and even gave in to Tebowing, so the calls would go our way.
