Christmas Holiday Celebrations 2013

Breakfast with the Elf on the Shelf

The first weekend of December The  Latrobe Art Center sponsored lunch with the Elf on the Shelf.
The life sized elf, named Buddy, literally was on the shelf and he welcomed the children and guided them in a snowman painting class.

Tommy with his paintbrush and snowman painting.

Grace preferred to eat the breakfast.  (No painting)  French toast sticks, bacon, syrup and snowballs (powdered sugar donut holes)  Grace ate the donuts dipped in the syrup.  Yummy.

Pap pap also enjoyed the breakfast.  One of the elves knew him and slipped him a breakfast plate.

Grace didn't want Buddy to sit with us. But he autographed the snowman creations.

The build a Gingerbread house all set and ready to be built.
Each child had one (for the parents to work on).

Evelyn's house had two architects.

Lunchtime.

Santa visits baby James.  The other Grand-kids said no thanks to St Nick.

I'm not afraid of Santa and I was a good boy.

Story time.  Everyone is all ears.
Tommy raises his hand to tell the elf his elf is named Sydney and everyone claps.

Of course it's family photo time.

The photographer snaps one last pose of James.  He's awake now but time to go.
