October 19 was the date of the Pumpkin Carving at Michell and Tom's home.
Very fun evening.  Great food and lots of fun, lots of folks and awesome pumpkin carvings.

Fall Visit with Evelyn

In October I flew to Nashville for a visit and to help with some final preparations for the new baby. Of course, most of my time was spent playing with Evelyn.  Time flew by quickly.  We were very busy with lots of activities. Evelyn is sitting on her new Mr. Bear chair with her best friend lambie pie.  Sorry baby you get to lay on the floor.

It is not October unless you go to a pumpkin farm.  We had a fun afternoon at Gentry's farm.  Evelyn enjoyed climbing on the steps to the slide and then sliding down under the watchful eyes of dad.

The pumpkins we bought at the pumpkin farm were artistically arranged on the steps, but Evelyn preferred them in a row.  She was tidying the sidewalk too.

PNC Park "Tailgating in the Rain"

On Saturday evening Tim and I went to PNC to see one of the last home games for the Pittsburgh Pirates.  It was a sky-blast game with fireworks and Neon Trees performing after the game.  However, it was raining all day before the game so we came prepared for our tailgate with friends Stephanie and Linda.

Yes, it's a beach umbrella, aka instant tailgate popup shelter.

Life is Better at the Beach

Seagrove Beach was the summer vacation destination this year.
