Tommy's Birthday Party at Gymboree

Yo Gabba Gabba!  was the theme for Tommy's second Birthday Party held at Gymboree.

Tommy racing around with make believe "steering wheel" on his car.

Tommy "going on a Lion hunt".  Looks like he found two.

All the kids driving their cars.

Time to blow out the candles.

Enjoying birthday cake.

Time for a group picture...children and parents.

Tommy's Birthday Weekend

The Friday and Saturday before Tommy's 2nd Birthday Party we all had fun just doing family stuff.
Starting with watching Grace play...
and sleep. (Especially when she is sleeping with her arms raised)  She is just too cute.
Tommy playing backyard T-ball.
Taking the dogs for a walk.
Tommy especially had fun walking the dogs.  He kept on going.
Great-Grandma came by to visit.

Tommy rubbing the sand off his hands on his shirt.  Not used to having his hands dirty.

Tommy learns to shoot hoops.
Grace experiences her first trip to Landon Winery in McKinney with Grammy and Aunt Christine.
PapPap, Grammy and Grace at the winery. Grace enjoys the Pacifer blend, vintage 2011.

White Trash Picnic

Aunt Eileen and Bill hosted a Memorial Day Picnic on Sunday at their home in Greensburg.  Aunt Eileen dubbed it the "White Trash Picnic" in her Evites.   In keeping with her theme I snapped a photo of the cars waiting for repair in the neighbor's yard.  According to dad, you know you are a redneck if the directions to your home include "turn onto the dirt road."  The picnic directions mentioned dirt road.
For the picnic Bill grilled burgers and dogs and cooked up corn on the cob.  The men  sat outside and enjoyed beer and cigars.  PapPap even came and rode with Aunt Nina and Uncle Bill.  Later in the evening the farmer's horses were out and Olivia and Gavin fed them apples.  Olivia was on the hammock, took a tumble, she said she heard her arm crack.
Enjoy the show.
